Product Information

FOLLA is designed for gutting and heading whitefish, with a special focus on preserving whole roe and liver. The functions of heading and belly cutting are optional for the operator. The fish must be bled with a deep throat cut, as the bleeding cut is part of the machine’s reference system.

The machine is not suitable for processing live fish unless they are sufficiently stunned. For best quality, the fish should bleed out in cold running water for at least 20 minutes. It is not recommended to process fish that have reached rigor mortis.

FOLLA is configured for the specified fish size and production speed, but the proportions and quality (season, catch area, etc.) may affect these figures.

The machine’s placement and adaptations to the gutting line must be carried out by the buyer or personnel chosen by the buyer. We can assist in assessing the placement in the line together with the customer and, if necessary, the line supplier. Our personnel will handle the start-up and training of staff as soon as the machine is properly placed in the gutting line and ready for operation.
