Product Information

Digital automation for land- and onboard precision heading and gutting of fish.

HAVFRONT FOLLA is a fully electric, digitally controlled machine designed for precise, gentle, and efficient heading and gutting of whitefish. Featuring advanced technology, FOLLA 2.0 ensures optimal raw material utilization while preserving roe and liver intact, maximizing product quality and value.

Digital automation – adapts to the size of each fish
Advanced sensor-based measuring automatically adjusts to each fish’s size, guaranteeing optimal precision for every cut.

Precise and uniform cuts
Delivers consistently accurate cuts that improve product quality and minimize raw material loss.

Preserves roe and liver intact (optional)
Mechanical separation between the knife blade and liver and roe
during belly cutting ensures gentle handling. This preserves valuable raw material and adds value to the final product.

Keeps the collarbone on the trunk
Ideal for processing to saltfish

Increases productivity and reduces manual workload – The machine reduces manual workload with a streamlined infeed system for smooth fish handling and continuous flow. Its ergonomic design and precise tray positioning enhance comfort and efficiency, while cutting repetitive tasks to increase productivity and reduce strain.

Symmetric belly cut
Produces a clean, symmetric belly cut that enhances product presentation and quality.

Head-on gutting is possible
Offers the option of head-on gutting to suit different processing requirements and product specifications.

For land-based or onboard-based processing of fish
Built for flexibility, the machine performs reliably in both land-based facilities and onboard processing environments.

Easy to operate
Designed with intuitive controls for fast setup, minimal training, and smooth daily operation.

Caring for the environment – By using electric-driven motors instead of hydraulic systems, we reduce oil usage and eliminate the risk of contamination, helping protect the marine environment. At the same time, the absence of hydraulic vibrations lowers noise pollution, creating a quieter, safer workspace for the crew also minimizing disturbances to surrounding ecosystems.

FOLLA is configured for the specified fish size and production speed, but proportions and quality (season, catch area, etc.) may affect these figures.

The placement and adaptation of the machine to the production line is carried out by the buyer or personnel chosen by the buyer. We can assist in assessing its placement in the line together with the customer and, if necessary, the line supplier. Our personnel will handle the startup and training of employees as soon as the machine is correctly placed in the gutting line and ready for operation.
