The hauler is developed as a part of a Mustad Autoline system, it can also be used as a stand-alone unit.
Complete with hook cleaner and rail roller
The hauling station is delivered complete with hook cleaner and rail roller. The rail roller, with Ø 219,1 / 9” and roller bearing, can be adjusted in an angle up to 120˚. The rail roller section is hinged, and may be tilted inwards when not in use.

- Delivered with a OMTW-500 EMD motor with speed sensor as standard.

Our new light hauler MA HV 100, is developed as part of the Mustad Autoline Coastal System, but can also be used as a separate hauling station.

The hauler has got a magnet and a recess behind the sheaves, useful for guiding the hooks to the back of the sheaves, – a safety benefit.

Rail roller
The rail roller comprise three separate rolls: L400 x Ø60mm. It is hinged, and may be tilted inward when not in use. The roller system consists of several rollers instead of one giving an increased circumference for the line to pass over, thus reducing fiber breakage in the line. This feature will reduce loss of fish at the rail.

For easy installation on deck space available the hauling unit can be angled up to 30˚

Rotating brushes and water jets
The hooks and line pass through an integrated “fish-releaser” and are cleaned by four rotating brushes combined with water jets. Hydraulic motors synchronise both main hauler and hook separator to stopping and starting accordingly. The hook and line cleaner is opened and closed by a hydraulic piston. Hydraulic power is supplied by the same power source serving the hook separator and line retriever.
The RotoCleaner operates smoothly to as low as 20 rpm on the brushes. This prevents unnecessary wear on both the line and the brushes.
Fits most haulers
The RotoCleaner is produced from solid stainless steel, driven by durable hydraulic motors and an industry standard PLC system. The Mustad Autoline RotoCleaner can easily be fitted to most haulers, be low or high pressure.

Decreased rotation speed on the brushes:

- The new drive mechanism allows the hydraulic motors to be located away from the flow of water; increasing the life span of the motor whilst reducing operating costs.

The HPU, hydraulic power unit, is the heart of a Mustad Autoline DeepSea system. Until now, the common solution for this application has been using a serial system where all the components are set up in a line. To save energy and make the whole system more performant, we have constructed a new parallel system. The new HPU consists of 2×30 kW, and sports several benefits in addition to parallel operation:
Reduced oil consumption
The cyclone tank separates air from oil in a more efficient manner, which halves the need of buffer oil. Compared to a traditional tank, this will reduce cost when changing oil, reducing weight, and reducing total oil consumption.
Water surveillance
Sensors are measuring the water content in the oil, and warns if the level exceeds a pre-defined limit. Water in the oil can reduce lifetime on the components and cause rust in the system. The water surveillance can be integrated in the Mustad Autoline LineController system, allowing the skipper to constantly monitor the status.
Filter guard
Monitoring of filter status, and warning when the filter should be replaced. This will notify the crew if there is a suddenly increase in particles in the oil causing the filter to get jammed, or if filter change is forgotten. Can also be integrated with LineController, temperature surveillance is also available.
Noise cancelling
Features for vibration cancelling are available to reduce noise pollution, improving the ambient on board, and may help reduce interaction of sea mammals.
Automatic flow control
An automatic flow control on the water cooler ensures that the system automatically reach desired operation temperature after start, and keeps stable temperature during operation.
Filter system
A filter system on oil filling prevents contamination entering the HPU from barrels and filling systems.
